Advisory

Advising at the middle school provides small group support and accountability.

Overview

Students need to be aware of where they are, where they want to be at the end of the trimester, and how to get there. Advisory is designed to support the whole child through creating a space for belonging. Through Advisory, students will identify where they need to improve academically and which of our character traits will help them achieve their goal. The accountability measures students adopt will include how their teacher, advisor and family members can help. Students meet in Advisory groups three times each week.

Each Advisory house name is based on the Latin name for each of our character traits:
