Charting Success: Nurturing Academic Excellence for Tomorrow's Leaders

An integral part of our students' success is meeting the needs of each student through inclusive school practices. Through high-quality programming and differentiated supports and services, students have what they need to belong, grow and lead. We have designed our program to ensure that all students have the skills and knowledge to excel in elementary school to high school and beyond. Students will master the foundations of reading, writing and math while building knowledge in science, social studies and the arts and developing their socio-emotional skills. Students will explore, grow and develop as learners and leaders throughout their elementary school experience.

Academics

All Students Excel

Here are just a few ways that we ensure that all students excel:

  • We have two teachers in every Kindergarten and 1st grade classroom to ensure a smaller student to teacher ratio.
  • Our high-quality curriculum and instruction is researched-based and differentiated to meet student needs.
  • We will provide intervention and enrichment based on student needs.
  • We provide special education services, including integrated co-teaching and related services such as speech and language therapy and counseling.
  • We will also employ specialized instruction to support our English Language Learner.
  • And our social worker, dean and teachers will provide socio-emotional and behavior support.

  • School Culture

We ensure a safe and joyful environment for all students to belong, grow and lead. We create intentional time in our calendar to learn and apply our core values and foster connection, reflection and friendship within our community. Students cultivate relationships and build character, socio-emotional and leadership skills during morning meetings, classes and recess. Our curriculum and instructional materials reflect and celebrate our diverse community and communities around the world.

    Events & Celebrations

Celebrating our students and each other is at our core. We build community by showcasing and celebrating learning and each other during school assemblies and school events but also throughout each and every day. Students will participate in curriculum-aligned field trips and engage with community guest speakers. Students demonstrate their learning through authentic projects, showcases and school performances. Throughout the year, we will celebrate student milestones, birthdays and cultural events.
